CNN starts new tradition, iReport citizen journalism awards. They announced that winners of iReport Awards will be chosen in March and the contest begins now. Awards are listed in six categories: Breaking News, Original Reporting, Compelling Imagery (photos or video), Commentary, Personal Story, and Interview. Few days ago happened one of, in my own opinion, the worst problems with citizen journalism sites. CNN’s iReport was in some way attacked with false information of Randall Stephenson’s death. I just thought that stupid things like this was left in the past, with that, year ago, so called news about Steve Jobs. Freedom
