About 1 year ago I had an idea of starting a citizen journalism site. As every job or creating process I had my share of troubles and difficulties.
At that time citizen journalism wasn’t so popular but now seems to be a bit better. Still it’s not enough and not as it should to be but I think its time is yet to come.
Back to the beginning, after some hard work and back pain I finished site NewsMeBack.com and had high hopes. But, I was hoping to get first 100 users and it was high as a mountain top to me. While I was working I learned so many new and useful stuff and got great information. It was one long and hard working process but it was worth it.
So, after 3 different designs and some other changes I finally did what I wanted, of course work isn’t over yet and will never be.
And like the best reward I got 1000 users and I am as proud as I can be.
Looking back it seemed to me so unreachable and now I am looking in the future and next thousand users and their interesting stories.

Well, congratulations on your 1000 users. Your blog is an inspiration. I’m in the beginning stages of trying to drive some traffic to my blog. As you said it’s a difficult journey, but posts like yours keeps me going. My blog Wapatu is an acronym for “Will Anyone Pay Attention To Us.” I’m hoping they will.
I’m looking forward to reading more from you. Good luck in reaching the 2000 mark! I’ll help by becoming a member!
