Some glamorous news about citizen journalism awards. Like we mentioned in one of our previous posts:Annual prizes for citizen journalists, it happened.
Citizens who wanted to be more, who wanted to make a change, bring something good to them and to others received thanks for their work. And it wasn’t just thanks, they received awards.
IBN18 Network announced today winners of the Citizen Journalist Awards. Ceremony was in New Delhi, and many present guests had the honor to see 32 nominees waiting to get this prestigious awards.
These hard working people gave their contribution for better world. They were competing in 6 award categories: Citizen Journalism Fight Back, Citizen Journalism Save Your City, Citizen Journalism Be the Change, Citizen Journalism Photo, Citizen Journalism Video and Special Citizen Journalism.
One of sponsors who appreciated their vision and effort is IDEA Cellular Limited, who also presented the Awards.
The whole ceremony will be telecast on February 20, 2010 on IBN7 7:00PM, IBN-Lokmat 8:00PM and CNN-IBN 9:30PM, so people who admire and support citizen journalism can feel the excitement and thrill of this event.
