Can you imagine citizen journalism 100 years ago? How would it look and function? I’m pretty sure that 100 years ago there was some kind of citizen journalism. Same way traditional and professional journalism existed and reported news, citizens were doing their part. But how? Without developed technology and social media, Internet and mobile phones.
Organizing citizen journalism trainings, workshops and webinars shouldn’t be that hard or complicated. It requires instructors – people who know or do citizen journalism, not necessary professional journalists, and citizens who have time and wish to upgrade their skills and learn more about new digital media.
